  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Hawaii Standard Time
  • Platform: Zoom
  • This 40-hour class is designed for contractors, military, and government employees doing business with the US Navy, NAVFAC, US Army Corps of Engineers, and other government agencies requiring EM 385-1-1 (2024) training.
  • This course is taught by experienced local government military and contractor safety professionals Tracy Lawson, Robert McCarthy, and Terri Watkins.
  • Course content will prepare learners to understand how to work on a government project successfully, prepare submittals (APP, AHA, site-specific plans for fall protection, confined space, excavation, and trenching, etc.), and identify hazards and controls to ensure the safety management system is an effective tool for field personnel to prevent and control hazards and meet contract requirements.
  • **It is a requirement to have a working camera and microphone to maximize engagement and to receive credit and certification for attending the course.
