  • This 8-hour Competent Person level course covers the OSHA 1926 Subpart L Scaffolding Standard, ANSI A10.8 and EM 385-1-1 Section 22.
  • This course emphasizes Best Practices to enable supervision to efficiently plan for and implement safe and productive scaffolding activities.
  • Course topics include the scope and application of the standard; understanding the definition of a scaffold, Competent and Qualified Person requirements; capacity; platform construction; criteria for supported scaffolds; access; use; fall protection; falling object protection; fabricated frame scaffolds (tubular welded frame); mobile scaffolds; and training requirements.
  • **It is a requirement to have a working camera and microphone to maximize engagement and to receive credit and certification for attending the course.
