  • This 24-hour Competent Person level course is presented by a Qualified Fall Protection Trainer (as required by ANSI Z359.2 and ANSI Z490.1) and is based on 29 CFR 1926 Sub Part M, 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1 Section 21 and ANSI Z359 series.
  • This course meets training requirements for both military and non-military projects and emphasizes Best Practices to enable supervision to efficiently plan for and implement safe and productive fall protection activities.
  • Course topics include regulatory requirements for fall protection; duty to have fall protection; systems criteria and practices; design requirements; inspection; use; qualified, competent and authorized person requirements; site-specific written fall protection program; rescue plan and procedures.
  • **It is a requirement to have a working camera and microphone to maximize engagement and to receive credit and certification for attending the course.
